Get the old post out of the way
Broken, leaning, rotten, and abandoned posts are often held in place by heavy concrete footings. Digging them out by hand can turn into a much larger hole and a long afternoon. Jim's pulling system applies controlled upward force to lift suitable posts and footings from the soil.
The first step is confirming the post material, footing size, access, nearby fence sections, utilities, and anything that could be damaged during removal.
